Another cake box.
This one is larger than the last one I did. I chose a spotted paper for the bottom and a script print for the lid.
It is decorated with some vintage lace, a brown spotted ribbon, a brown organza bow, some stiny sting pearls and a couple of paper roses.
There are also a couple of buttons, pearl flower embellishments and a sequin flower and leaf embellishment I made.

3 drawer mini matchbox chest
A small 3 drawer chest made from three matchboxes.
I've used a lovely paper from a new Paper Cellar Victorian Classic 6x6 pad...
...embellished with paper roses, organza ribbon and buttons...
...and small purple sequins pushed onto brads to make the drawer knobs.

I've been sewing dance costumes for a friend this past week so I thought I'd use up a couple of fabric and ribbon scraps and make these tags while my machine was in use.
This first tag has a piece of ribbon saying 'delicious' on it, which came from a box of chocolates. Just perfect to tie onto a chocolately gift.

...and these are made using printed scrapbooking ribbon.
This is a great way to use up tiny fabric scraps and ends of ribbon.

Matchbox Birdhouse
My sister and I made matchbox birdhouses.
I used a Laura Ashley paper in a flower and bird print.
I 'aged' the edges with a gold stamping ink and decorated the roofline with a delicate glitter.
Embellishments are tiny paper flowers and a jewelled butterfly and dragonfly.
The hole is a tiny black button and the knobs on the drawers are gold split-pins.
Gift mini envelope
A lovely craft day today.
I made a gift card mini envelope for my sister-in-law.
I used some of my dark brown and pink paper to cover the brown envelope and embellished it with a paper lilac flower, some paper ribbon bows, a button and a heart and label cut with sizzix.

Matchbox Advent
Here is the matchbox advent I made.
I used papers from the Papermania Nostalgia packs, and a mixture of embellishments. Some are wooden (painted and frosted), others are sizzix cutouts, peel-offs, buttons and even a couple of pictures cut from old Christmas cards.
The knobs on my drawers are made with split pins (hubby had to help here and cut the ends off them to make them short enough to fit) and are waiting to have numbers stamped on them.
