I love pussy willows.  I wanted to make these for Christmas but didn't manage to get any pussy willow branches until last weekend...

...so they have been wire twisted and finished with gingham bows...

Happy New Year

It's hard to believe it's 2012 already!  After a very tricky run up to Christmas 2011 (there was so much illness in our house I didn't know whether to hang a Christmas wreath on the front door or paint a large red 'X') I was too exhausted to even think of New Year resolutions for myself so I asked my children to come up with some for me.  Let me just say right here and now - I LOVE my children!  What are their resolutions for me, I here you ask?
