Textile Art Postcards

There's a pattern I keep trying to create for a book cover but every time I try my head refuses to make it work.  I'm convinced it will just fall into place perfectly one day, until then I'll just keep getting distracted by lovely little textile art pieces like these...

That wasn't much of a Summer, was it?

I would have loved to spend days at the beach, watching the waves and squishing my toes in the sand!

Oh well, I never even got to buy any postcards so I made one instead...
