Just a few hand-stamped cards for the coming festive season...

Little Hearts

I accidently slipped into a little bit of crafting this afternoon, with no particular plan to follow.  I petted some of my favourite fabrics, pinched and snipped my fingers on my wire cutters and pliers before coming up with this little idea...

which moved nicely along to this one...

and this... 

 

then finished off with a Christmassy tatty raggedy heart...

Restocking

I'm slowly, but surely, restocking my Folksy Shop.  After a very busy year with more than a couple of hiccups along the way I'm finally getting back on track.  Of course Christmas is galloping madly towards me and I find I'm already clutching bundles of lists but I love my little online shops and want to make them an interesting browse.

Ho Ho Ho...

Christmas bunting in soft gold printed paper with a satin sheen...

Just a quick show of some Christmas bunting...

 ...in shimmering printed festive papers...

 ...with shimmery purple lettering, edged in silver...

 ...and finished with beads and gingham knots in blue and purple ribbons...

This is more what I had in mind...

...when I was making bottle bags previously, so they look more like rustic burlap sacks with pretty but simple little fabric and button detail decorations.

oh, and some 'Merry Christmas' gift tags in the same rustic fabric.

Merry Christmas

More sewn fabric gift tags.  

These are made with fabrics I've used previously and the ribbon is printed with 'x Merry Christmas x'

I love the spotty green material with the small floral print, and the pink gingham fabric and ribbon are wonderful.

Little Mitten Decorations

I've made some little mitten decorations from sturdy card and printed craft papers.  

The edges are ink-smudged in silver on the maroon mittens 

and dull gold on the pink and green mittens.

I punched a star-shaped hole to thread thick craft string through for a hanger and tied a pink ribbon knot around it.

Christmas Bunting

A couple more buntings of JOY!

These are smaller than the other Christmas bunting I've shown but that seems to make them all the more lovely.

I have used my vintage-look red gingham paper on the outer flags and a couple of other prints on the JOY flags.  The letters are ink-smudged or outlined with golds.

Then the flags are threaded on to brown crafting string and finished with a bead and loop at each end for hanging, and a simple knot of red gingham ribbon.
